Lowry Avenue Bridge, We Hardly Knew Ye

I wish I'd been there to see this:




This ex-bridge spanned the Mississippi River and connected North and Northeast Minneapolis (the latter being my old stomping grounds). In fact, the first place our family lived when we moved to Northeast in 1979 (at 235 26th Ave.) was just a stone's throw from there.
